In this video we look at using PowerShell with XenDesktop 5 to modify both local site policies and domain based group policies. Adding the powershell snapin for Citrix group policies will create a new powershell drive letter for the local site policy in XenDesktop. We can just use the CD command in powershell to navigate and view settings then with the user and computer policies. Using the set-itemproperty cmdlet we can also change the value. If we prefer to use domain based policies so they can be effective for both XenApp and XenDesktop then we can use the new-psdrive cmdlet to create a drive pointing to an AD based policy.
